And Nobody Gets Everything Right

The Rhythm Method presents works which bend, sidestep, or shatter the classical frame of the string quartet, from Dame Elizabeth Maconchy's concisely dramatic String Quartet No. 3 (1938) to violinist-composer Marina Kifferstein's extraterrestrial musings in An Alien with Extraordinary Abilities (2017), from Lewis Nielsen's anti-colonialist tour de force Le Journal de Corps (2010) to Kristin Bolstad's disruptive And Nobody Gets Everything Right (2012).

Leah Asher and Marina Kifferstein, violins
